Start as for Gb1. On leaving Lavaudroy, turn left onto the road and take the second turning on the right. Cross the D912 to follow the old road, then turn left towards Petit Cloux. After 250 m, take the track on the right. after 1.5km, turn right onto the road in front of the pond. Take the road to the left in Grand Cloux to join the D44, then follow it to the right. Drive along the grounds of Château de la Ribbe. After 1km, take the road on the left, then a path in La Ribbe. After the pond, where you can see bald cypresses, take the right-hand path to La Peyre. Here, take the track opposite to go to La Barde. In the village, turn right onto the road that leads to the D52, where it meets the Gb4. Turn left to return to Grand Bourg via Livergnat and Laugères.

Start from the church. Take the street behind the church to the left of the presbytery; go alongside a park and turn right into the chemin des jardiniers to follow the D912 to the left. After 60m, turn right onto the road leading to Lavaudroy. Before the village is a pond where grey herons often come to fish. In the village, leave the Gb3 and take a left-hand track that leads back to the forest. Return to Le Grand Bourg, crossing the Peu du Venant and then the original path in the opposite direction (to the right).

Departing from Grand-Bourg, come and discover this hearty, rugged gravel route, offering breathtaking views over the varied landscapes of the Creuse. Crossing the Communauté de Communes de Bénévent-Grand Bourg from north to south, the route climbs steeply along rural lanes, back roads and forest paths. Travel in the heart of a 100% natural environment. A difficult, technical itinerary that can be completed in 2-3 days. Beware: many departmental roads need to be crossed.

Escape to the Creuse countryside and the Gartempe River. The circuit takes you from "peux" to ponds without any real difficulty, along small hedge-lined roads, alternating between flat and hilly landscapes.

Leaving from Bénévent l?Abbaye or Marsac, this gravel trail offers magnificent views of the abbey church and the Creuse countryside. It takes in rural paths, small roads and several singles (with no technical difficulties). The route passes through many shady wooded areas, making it a pleasant experience, especially in summer. Picnic areas are available at Etang de la Brousse and Puy du Gaud. Take care when crossing the D914 at km 16.4.

From the Tourist Office, go past the town hall, towards Marsac, to turn right into the rue d'Herse. At the second crossroads, turn left towards Marsac. At the stop sign, follow the direction of Saint Goussaud (D62). 700m further on, follow the path on the right and cross the forest of l'Age. At the end of the forest, follow the road to the right to join the D914. Go up on the right to turn left after 100m (direction La Chaise). Follow the track and at the top of a steep slope, turn right to return to Bénévent.

Dedicated to the Virgin Mary, it is also placed under the patronage of Saint Léobon, a hermit who lived nearby. Built in the 12th century and rebuilt in the 16th and 17th centuries, it features a handsome side portal, attractive capitals and, on the village square side, two enfeus whose tombs have now disappeared. Behind the choir, in a small square, you'll find a well thought to be of Gallo-Roman origin. Inside the church, in the shape of a rib-vaulted Latin cross, the chapel on the left contains the tomb of Abbé Géraud (Musée de Guéret).
