Une fois là-bas, ne manquez pas la visite du musée du Louvre-Lens, ou encore la découverte des terrils jumeaux et de la base 11/19. Entre voies douces et voies partagées cette partie de l'EV5 traverse une partie du Bassin Minier avant de rejoindre le département du Nord.

Cette boucle pour le moins tortueuse vous offre des points de vue agréables sur les hauteurs. Sur votre chemin, ne loupez pas le dolmen « La Table aux Fées », à Fresnicourt-le-Dolmen, le château et le parc d’Olhain, ainsi que les terrils jumeaux de Maisnil-lès-Ruitz.
