In the heart of the Médoc, between the vineyards and the ocean, Lesparre has preserved beautiful traces of its history since ancient times. The jewel in the crown is the Donjon de l'Honneur, an imposing piece of military architecture from the early 14th century. This path starts from the Tour de l'Honneur, a historical point for the town of Lesparre, and crosses a large part of the forest.

The village of Queyrac offers a diversity of landscapes forest, vineyard, meadow and marsh thanks to its location between ocean and estuary. Its church of recent construction, at the end of the 19th century, replaced a Romanesque building dating from the 12th century which was demolished and whose stones were used in part to rebuild the one we see today, under the direction of the architect Bonnore, begun in 1896, it was inaugurated in April 1901. Situated in a medieval alley forming a semi-circle, this house of the old town has been preserved. It was one of the town's entrance gates and an entrance fee was paid.

Created in 1986 and a former intermunicipal library since 2004, the library is located in the heart of the town near the town hall of Lesparre-Médoc. It has about 10,000 books: novels, magazines, documentaries, encyclopaedias, comic books... in all literary genres.

The “palais du costume" (costume palace) : a little trip for one afternoon in our teaching museum that recounts French history by a display of costumes from Prehistory to Belle époque. Among the numerous characters, you will find Victor Hugo and Les Misérables, Léonard de Vinci, Mona Lisa or even Louis XI. During the tour about one hour, you will enjoy any explanation and discover funny puppet shows.

Built in the ogival style, the church has three naves of seven bays and an apse of three bays. The bell tower was equipped with bells in 1867, the largest of which, which gives the E, weighs 1,100 kilos. The furniture, partly preserved from the old church and completed by more recent pieces: statues and a large wooden crucifix from the 16th century, a stoup from the 17th century, two chandeliers from the 16th and 19th centuries, a pulpit and stalls sculpted in the 19th century by Tribolet. The stained glass windows were made in 1866 and 1880 by master glass artists from Bordeaux whose art evokes that of the Middle Ages. Classified as a historical monument in 2014, the organ was built in 1881 by the organ builder Wenner. Presented at the Bordeaux Exhibition, it won a gold medal. It was installed in the church in 1882.
