Hiking trail “Views over the River Lot”. Once a crossing point of the Lot on the way to Conques, the village has a fortified castle of medieval origin which was remodeled in the 15th century. The start of this walk is at Le Port, 3.5 km from the village, which was once the departure point for the boats that transported the chestnut wood used to make the Bordeaux barrels. This route offers beautiful views over the valley and hamlets with remarkable architecture. A path in the valley, from St Saturnin de Lenne, in a Causse countryside.1. Take the littel street, just in front of the church until the bridge. When you reach the road D2, turn left.2. At the cemetery, turn right and walk on the road D582.3. 300 m further on, at the cross, turn right, in direction of "Trescanous". At the mill, go straight on, until the hamlet "Orbis" (public bread oven).4. After the hamlet, turn right in direction of "Lenne". Go through the hamlet. The large building was an orphanage. It is now a holiday center.5. At the church, turn right, cross the road D45 and go straight along the path just opposite.  You join the village "St Martin de Lenne".6. Before entering the village, turn right. Go straight on for 3 km.7. 3 km further on, at the cross paths, marked by a cross, turn left in direction of "Grun", an old mansion of the XIVth century. Pass through the hamlet and along the beautiful building. Continue until the road D2 and continue back to the village of St Saturnin de Lenne.

Mountain bike route "From Montsalvy to the Goul Valley”. Starting near the castle built on the ancient ramparts of the medieval village, this itinerary offers the opportunity to discover Montsalvy. This is an accessible and fairly easy route which offers beautiful panoramas, in particular that of the Puy de l'Arbre, which dominates this area from the top of its 830 m. This route will then offer mountain bikers beautiful views of the mountains and valleys, with several forest passages punctuating the route.

Around Campagnac, go to discover the Causse architecture and smell the scent of boxwood.Borrow the D37 to Saint-Laurent-d'Olt on 300 m. At the Iron Cross, take the left path.It runs along the limestone cliffs of the Ancize (view over the ravine of Courtineaux and Lot valley picnic area).At the junction, follow the right path.It climbs to the house of painter (private property).After the high voltage line, the road descends into the wood.100 m after the ruin of a vine house, turn left into the path that goes back on the shelf.At the top, continue the path in front of 100 m, then turn left.Just before the high voltage line, follow the path left for a few meters, then turn right on the small road lined with big boxwood.Enter the pine wood and then continue through the boxwood  until Campagnac.Cross the village center, then go down to join the gendarmerie.

From the Brasc plateau to the banks of the Tarn river, a breathtaking hike that winds through the pines and connects the perched village with a small chapel below.From the cross situated on the northeast side of the church square, head towards Réquista. After 50m you reach a road junction, where you turn to the right. After approximately 500 m you will reach a pine wood, take a hairpin bend to the right; then follow an ancient roadway for about 3 km towards the Mas de Gély.Once above the Mas de Gély, take the track leading through woodland, then onto a path that runs through some trees.  After 100 m take the path to the left which becomes a meandering slope down to Guiraldou, Le Roc; From here follow the D902 to the right.Once you’ve reached Saint-Dalmazi, you will see some houses situated up ahead. Between the houses to your right there is a steep passage which will take you up to Sénils where you then join a narrow road which joins the D552. Follow this road to the right up to the village of Brasc.

Situated in the north of the Aveyron, 10 km from the famous town of Conques, Château de Sénergues has only been open to the public since 2023. The family who have owned it for 7 centuries welcome you on certain days to visit the 24-metre-high keep and its beautiful interior rooms, and enjoy the magnificent 360-degree view. Group visits possible, calendar available on the website. You need to be in good physical condition to visit the keep, and the visit is not recommended for people suffering from claustrophobia or extreme vertigo. The tour is open to children aged 10 and over.

Built on the Causse, next to a Roman road, the small chapel dominates the hamlet of Lenne.This small oratory is dedicated to the Virgin. A Way of the Cross goes from Lenne to the small chapel, in addition to a roadway. A lot of pilgrims and visitors go to this site all along the year. Private property.

The small Gothic church of Lenne was built at the end of the 15th century.Inside, there is a copy of the statue of the Enthroned Virgin, coming from Luganhac. The original, sculpted in the wood, from the 12th century, is, with the one in Estables, one of the oldest of the Rouergue. The statue, as the reredos of the church, are classified in the inventory of historic monuments.

This fortified farm depended from the monastic barn of Galinières, next to Pierrefiche d'Olt.Its buildings close an indoor court, which the vaulted unique entrance is protected by a gatehouse (small rectangular room situated above the door, with pierced holes in the floor for shots).

Mansion from the 17th century and its pigeon house.Its corners have turrets allowing a defence of the fronts.In 1755, it was one of the most important domain of the region: 4 pairs of oxes, 31 animals with horns, 4 mares, 408 animals which produced wool. The domain produced wheat, rye, barley, oats.

The southernmost river of Cantal is the Lot River. The valley is situated at 200 meters altitude. The weather is mild and shows another facet of the Châtaigneraie. Enjoy the beautiful panoramas (Montmurat, Aubespeyre), discover the history of the medieval castle, go canoeing...

Visit of the medieval fortress of Vieillevie (11th-13th centuries) in July and August. Storytelling tours (in French): Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 5pm. Places are limited, so bookings must be made by text message or e-mail. The castle dominates the Lot Valley from its high towers. It is an authentic defensive fortress: sentry walks, archways, and defensive hoardings. Above the lower rooms carved into the rock, you will discover the large Renaissance rooms with their finely sculpted mullioned windows and their monumental 13th century fireplaces, among the oldest in France.

In 1988, during the creation of a subdivison, a part of ruins of a important Gallo-Roman villa in activity during the second part of the 1st and the 5th century, was discovered.The remains are the western side of the urban part. The thermal baths, for the owner and his family, are situated in succession, for the coldest to the hotest, as required. The first church of St Saturnin de Lenne, which dominates the Serre valley, was built during the 11th century. It had been reconstructed during the 12th century, then enlarged during the 13th.During the 11th century, Bégon de Calmont gave the churches of St Saturnin and La Roque to the abbey of Conques. Around 1100, monks started to reconstruct the church. But works stopped.During the 13th century, the tower was completed by the building of a bell room lighted by 4 bays and covered by a dome with shale tiles.The 19th century brought numerous transformations : bays were opened in the east end, 2 bays were added between 1852 and 1856. Finally, an architech of Mende proposed to elevate the bell tower and to add a roof light of 8 small columns, of the Neo-Byzantine style.Outside, sculptures represent historiated scenes (birds, horsemen, ...) from the end of the 11th century, in particular on the modillions of the east end and the transept.
