Hiking trail “Views over the River Lot”. Once a crossing point of the Lot on the way to Conques, the village has a fortified castle of medieval origin which was remodeled in the 15th century. The start of this walk is at Le Port, 3.5 km from the village, which was once the departure point for the boats that transported the chestnut wood used to make the Bordeaux barrels. This route offers beautiful views over the valley and hamlets with remarkable architecture. From the Brasc plateau to the banks of the Tarn river, a breathtaking hike that winds through the pines and connects the perched village with a small chapel below.From the cross situated on the northeast side of the church square, head towards Réquista. After 50m you reach a road junction, where you turn to the right. After approximately 500 m you will reach a pine wood, take a hairpin bend to the right; then follow an ancient roadway for about 3 km towards the Mas de Gély.Once above the Mas de Gély, take the track leading through woodland, then onto a path that runs through some trees.  After 100 m take the path to the left which becomes a meandering slope down to Guiraldou, Le Roc; From here follow the D902 to the right.Once you’ve reached Saint-Dalmazi, you will see some houses situated up ahead. Between the houses to your right there is a steep passage which will take you up to Sénils where you then join a narrow road which joins the D552. Follow this road to the right up to the village of Brasc.

Mountain bike route "From Montsalvy to the Goul Valley”. Starting near the castle built on the ancient ramparts of the medieval village, this itinerary offers the opportunity to discover Montsalvy. This is an accessible and fairly easy route which offers beautiful panoramas, in particular that of the Puy de l'Arbre, which dominates this area from the top of its 830 m. This route will then offer mountain bikers beautiful views of the mountains and valleys, with several forest passages punctuating the route.

Around Campagnac, go to discover the Causse architecture and smell the scent of boxwood.Borrow the D37 to Saint-Laurent-d'Olt on 300 m. At the Iron Cross, take the left path.It runs along the limestone cliffs of the Ancize (view over the ravine of Courtineaux and Lot valley picnic area).At the junction, follow the right path.It climbs to the house of painter (private property).After the high voltage line, the road descends into the wood.100 m after the ruin of a vine house, turn left into the path that goes back on the shelf.At the top, continue the path in front of 100 m, then turn left.Just before the high voltage line, follow the path left for a few meters, then turn right on the small road lined with big boxwood.Enter the pine wood and then continue through the boxwood  until Campagnac.Cross the village center, then go down to join the gendarmerie.

Created in 2023, the gîte with a capacity of 12 places, is rented by the bed (bunk beds), in the spirit of a stopover gîte, with the possibility of privatizing a room or the entire gîte. The Gorges de l'Aveyron are famous and we come there for sports, cultural activities but also these small villages like here in Laguépie where there is a beautiful beach with watched swimming in this wild river "Viaur".

Situated in the north of the Aveyron, 10 km from the famous village of Conques, Château de Sénergues has only been open to the public since 2023. The family who have owned it for 7 centuries welcome you on certain days to visit the 24-metre-high keep and its beautiful interior rooms, and enjoy the magnificent 360-degree view. Group visits possible, calendar available on the website. You need to be in good physical condition to visit the keep, and the visit is not recommended for people suffering from claustrophobia or extreme vertigo. The tour is open to children aged 10 and over.

Mansion from the 17th century and its pigeon house.Its corners have turrets allowing a defence of the fronts. In 1755, it was one of the most important domain of the region: 4 pairs of oxes, 31 animals with horns, 4 mares, 408 animals which produced wool. The domain produced wheat, rye, barley, oats.

The southernmost river of Cantal is the Lot River. The valley is situated at 200 meters altitude. The weather is mild and shows another facet of the Châtaigneraie. Enjoy the beautiful panoramas (Montmurat, Aubespeyre), discover the history of the medieval castle, go canoeing...

In 1988, during the creation of a subdivison, a part of ruins of a important Gallo-Roman villa in activity during the second part of the 1st and the 5th century, was discovered. The remains are the western side of the urban part.  The thermal baths, for the owner and his family, are situated in succession, for the coldest to the hotest, as required. Our restaurant «Les Terrasses du Viaur» is located on the banks of the Viaur, in the heart of a preserved natural environment. L’Auberge Fleurie is a charming Cantal stopover in the area of the River Lot and the River Truyère, at an altitude of 800 m. A good fairy seems to have bent over this inn, which offers an enthusiastic table where terroir and modernity go hand in hand! The inn also has a remarkable wine cellar. L'Auberge de Mourjou, with its restaurant and guest rooms, has been open since 18 March 2024. Daily menu (€19,90) from Monday 12pm to Friday 2pm. Chef Kara Asatryan's menu (€39) is available for lunch and dinner on Saturdays and lunch on Sundays. Booking recommended. The chef's menu consists of a choice of two starters, a choice of two main courses and a choice of two desserts. The menu changes every 2 weeks according to the season and her inspiration. You can also make the most of our shaded terrace in fine weather.
