  The locality of Folx-les-Caves boasts the unusual feature of having some 4 hectares of underground galleries whose origin is still unclear today. These galleries, for which the first known description dates back to the very beginning of the 17th century, vary in width from 2 to 8 metres by 2  to 4 metres in height, rising to 6 metres in places. This network of passages, which used to have a single porch opening into the side of a hill, belongs to two networks linked by a passage that is today condemned. However, the fact that there is an underground waterway at one location is not responsible alone for the extent of these galleries whose origins appear to be human. It is difficult to say when this underground network was created or the reasons for it, although the extraction of marl for improving the heavy soil of the Hesbaye plateau remains likely. Nonetheless, the site at Folx-les-Caves remains just as remarkable from a geological and paleontological perspective. Listed: 8-07-993 Exceptional heritage site of Wallonia  

These man-made caves, the only ones in Walloon Brabant, stretch over six hectares and have served multiple purposes over the centuries. This has included being used to shelter residents during the wars, as a hideout for the gang of Pierre Colon and his wife Marie Tirion until they were caught and hanged, as storage for farming machinery and for growing mushrooms for many years.The site, which has been listed since 1993, is now privately owned and not open to visitors except for school trips organised with the Walloon Brabant Museum of Archaeological Interpretation (MiaBw) in Hélécine.The Mushroom Association of Folx-les-Caves has been created here.An educational visit can be organised via the MiaBw.

  Due to the work of the architect Émile Coulon in the second half of the 19th century, the church dedicated to St Lambert in its current state is made up of a plain neo-Classical nave with three aisles and five spans, as well as a white stone tower rising to approximately half of its elevation. This tower is older and as such bears witness to the many trials and tribulations that have occurred since the foundation of the original place of worship that was destroyed in the first half of the 14th century. It features date stones for 1732 above a Baroque door topped by an effigy of the patron saint, and 1755 on the brick elevation. The furnishings include a finely made pulpit. Since the end of the 19th century, a park has replaced the cemetery that used to surround the church. The building is especially noteworthy for its listed organ. Built in 1869 and positioned on a platform opposite the chancel, it was made by Louis and Florian Gheude of Nivelles. The organ is still original, apart from a section of pipe replaced at the beginning of the 20th century. The organ case was made by Joseph Gibert, also of Nivelles. The instrument, consisting of three turrets framing the face plates, was restored in 1948 and has remained operational ever since. Listed on 29/08/1990 (organ)  

Opened in April 1959 in memory of the 1940 French Cavalry Corps, this museum treats visitors to a plethora of rare documents, postcards, photos, equipment, weaponry and ammunition from all of the French regiments that took part in the battles of May 1940. Under the orders of General Blanchard, General Prioux's Cavalry Corps was in charge of preventing the progression of German troops and making contact with the frontline defence position before the morning of May 14th. This event marked WWII's first battle of armoured tanks.

Saints Martin and Adèle church is impressive due to its huge size and the brightness of the Orp stone. It is listed among ‘Walloon Brabant’s Roman heritage’. Along with the Collegiate Church of Saint Gertrude in Nivelles and Bertem church, it is one of the most representative and comprehensive sanctuaries of Roman art in Brabant. It was actually the abbess Gertrude of Nivelles who sent Adèle to set up a monastery in Orp.
