A loop with varied landscapes, passing through different biotopes (rhododendron moorland) and a beautiful serpentine. Access info: Le Pont de la Serre can be reached from Colmars-Les-Alpes via a bumpy 8 km forest track (40 min. drive). Bring a vehicle with sufficient ground clearance. Motorhome access impossible. This trail is open from June to October. Closed by a barrier in winter. From the Pont de la Serre (1,633 m), follow the path up the slope towards the Lançonnet pastoral hut and quickly reach a crossroads. At the marker indicating Le Bois Noir (1,660 m), turn left. The path winds its way up through the forest. At the next intersection, continue in the same direction: the path crosses a sandstone slab and offers a view of the Lance valley. Higher up, the slope becomes gentler and the path crosses a former logging area where cembro pines have settled in, along with bilberries and iron rhododendrons. Exit onto the Lançonnet plateau and reach the hut. Turn right in front of the hut and wind your way up to the ridge separating the Lançonnet and Sagne valleys. Cross the ridge and descend to the cabane de la Sagne (follow the cairns). Pass the hut and follow the path down into the alpine pasture. The path then crosses under rocky bars and into the forest. Reach the Crouès crossroads. Descend to the right and reach another fork in a clearing. You'll come to the Pluhautière sign (1,960 m), and follow an old forest trail to the right. It leads to a clearing overgrown with raspberry bushes. At its end, a path twists and turns downhill towards La Lance and the parking lot.

Set in a glacial valley, this itinerary offers a breathtaking panorama. Over the course of time, the torrent has carved out natural pools and waterfalls, or "marmites de Géants", where you can take a refreshing dip. Motorhome access impossible. This trail is open from June to October. Closed by a barrier in winter. From the Pont de la Serre parking lot, walk along the forest track that runs alongside the river. In 20 minutes, you'll come to a small wooden bridge over the Lance. Don't take it, just keep going straight ahead. The path follows the river without any alternative. It is possible to make hooks towards the riverbed to observe the many pools, but do so with extreme caution. A safe distance is needed to avoid falling, as the edges of the precipices are not stable. The terrain eases a little upstream of the largest waterfall, where there are 3 beautiful basins that are easy to reach for a refreshing dip after leaving the GR. After a break in this enchanting spot, rejoin the nearby GR and follow it in the opposite direction.

A change of scenery between vast high-altitude lawns and rushing waters! From Colmars, follow the forest track to Pont de la Serre (with an adapted vehicle) for around 40 minutes. Follow on foot the superb basins of La Lance. Access info: Le Pont de la Serre can be reached from Colmars-Les-Alpes via a bumpy 8 km forest track (40 min. drive). From the Pont de la Serre parking lot at an altitude of 1633m, continue past the barrier on the track as far as a crossroads (yellow markings). Take the right-hand path alongside the torrent de la Lance. Passing several waterfalls, the path becomes a little steeper, passing over long rocky bars below the tête de Mouriès. You then reach the eponymous hut. Follow the yellow markings, which become less visible as you pass through the grazing area in front of the hut. Cross the ravine and continue under the sommet de la Mole on your right, then cross the plateau cut by the ravin de la Mole. You then pass under the summit of Carton. The path then turns east, and you can admire the magnificent summit of Grand Coyer. Progress is then made through an area of peat bog. You'll soon discover the largest of Lignin's lakes, with its green waters and small pastoral hut. An optional climb to the cross of the Col de Lignin to the southeast gives you a view of the magnificent summit of Saint-Honorat and the Pointe de Sangaris. Then rejoin the cairned path at the end of the lake to begin your descent, which is different from the ascent. The route begins on the plateau, then gradually steepens as you descend. Reach the bottom of the valley, then join the torrent de la Lance. Cross the magnificent Bresssenge ravine, and admire the small huts bearing the same name above the path. Rejoin the Juges hut, and take the footbridge behind the hut to reach the ONF Fruchière hut. Return to the starting parking lot.

A varied and fairly sporty route in the Ratery Nordic area. The route passes close to Cabane Vieille.

Departing from the Chalet de Ratery, a Nordic center in winter, the trails run through a large larch forest, following the "La Reynière" loop to Cabane Neuve.

A forest trail for a Nordic adventure from glade to glade. From the Centre nordique de Ratéry, follow the cross-country ski trails, then at the first intersection, follow the snowshoe signs to the left. Continue along the track until you reach Cabane Vieille. The route then continues to the left along the Clignon ravine. A steady climb brings you to Cabane Neuve, with its fine views of the surrounding mountains. In this sunny clearing, you can enjoy a well-deserved break. Continue on the track that skirts the cross-country ski trails. You're now at the furthest point from the resort. All that's left is to take the return route through the melezin, alternating ascents and descents. A final descent brings you back to the starting point.

A forest trail, ideal for families to discover the winter environment. From the Centre nordique de Ratéry, follow the cross-country ski trails, then at the first intersection, follow the snowshoe signs to the left. Continue along the track until you reach Cabane Vieille. You then come to a clearing where you can take a break at the picnic tables. The route continues with a short climb. Be careful on this part, as you'll cross the cross-country ski trails. At the end of the climb, a steady descent through the melezin takes you back to the starting point.

In the shade of the larches, a varied circuit on the red trail of the Ratery Nordic area. The loop is a little more challenging in some parts of the forest. See the lily, emblem of the valley. In autumn, come and listen to the bellowing of the stag.

Chapel dedicated to Saint-Sébastien, decorated and painted by the artist Patrick Moya in 2018. The interior of the Saint Sébastien chapel in Le Mas, officially unveiled in October 2019, has been entirely decorated by Nice artist Patrick Moya. On the inner walls and ceiling of this chapel, the artist has painted a mural that tells the story of the life of San Sebastian, a tale that resonates with the village’s history dating back to Roman times, as well as with the artist’s own world and his research in the realm of contemporary art. The wall-to-wall work is a blend of sacred and secular: the martyrdom of Saint Sebastian, the Hospitallers, the venerable family of Provençal nobles known as La Famille de Grasse, the Lérins monks, the American aviators hidden and protected by local residents during World War II. Religious symbolism, clever nods to eras and events, quotations – everything is deftly incorporated, bathed in the same Mediterranean light, interpreted with the same poetry. At one time dedicated to Saint Pons, this church was first mentioned in 1042 in a donation charter made by the local lord of the area at the Saint-Victor abbey in Marseille.

Housed in what was once the winery of the Maison Rabiers du Villars, the Regain museum unveils a new exhibition each year, focusing on the traditions of the Pays d'Annot. In the Louis Barral room (archaeologist who explored the St Benoît caves in 1950 with the team from Monaco's Musée Anthropologique Préhistorique): Exhibition of artifacts found in the St Benoît and Méailles caves during these excavations. Organized by the ADPC Association under the aegis of Annot town council.

The Vérimande chapel was most likely built on the site of a Templar chapel. Today the chapel is sheltered by a canopy roof and remains a place of pilgrimage during the annual Saint Fortunat festival.

Built in 1681, replacing the former wooden bridge, the Vaïre bridge has pedestrianised bays which were added in 1711. The bridge was shortened due to the town square being extended and there are now only four arches, yet there were seven before.

This ancient sandstone cross, located south of Annot, is sheltered by a canopy built upon four limestone columns. Despite its name, Croix Romane (or Roman Cross), and the date given on the classification decree, stylistic analysis suggests it dates from the 16th century. It is shown on the 1/14,000-scale Carte de Provence by the Ingénieurs Géographes militaires (1764-1765). It also appears on the 1830 cadastral map, on a "dry" plot belonging to Coste Honoré Jean-Baptiste. It is located a few dozen meters south of a former chapel, Notre-Dame des Auches, which appears on the Carte de Provence, on the Carte de Cassini and on the cadastral map of 1830, when it became part of the commune of Annot. The columns of the baldachin are similar to others used as replacements in houses around the Annot church. Some 100 specimens of two-wheeled machines, in perfect working order, are presented simply on their crutches or hung on the museum's picture rails like paintings by old masters. Built between 1610 and 1627, the cathedral's crenellated bell tower and powerful buttresses reinforce its defensive appearance. Its Gothic architecture is complemented by an astonishing Baroque interior. Once the cathedral of the bishop of Glandèves (who moved his main residence to Entrevaux in the early 17th century), it was "Cathédrale de Glandèves" from 1624 to 1790. It houses a wealth of listed furnishings, including the altar, the altarpiece and the 18th-century painting depicting the Baptism of Christ, -the altarpiece (1716) and François Mimault's painting of the Donation of the Rosary (1631), the 53 17th-century walnut stalls, -the pulpit, from the end of the century or the beginning of the following century, decorated with bas-reliefs of the four Evangelists, A series of paintings: the Vow of Louis XIII, dated around 1630, an Assumption by François Mimault, dated 1630, a representation of the Holy Family, from the second half of the 17th century, an 18th-century silver-plated copper bust-reliquary of Saint John the Baptist, used for processions in June and August. -The organs date from 1717, and were restored in 1864 and 1948. The instrumental part is by Jean Eustache.

Essential to the men and their cattle feed, salt came mostly from saline. There is another salt resource, closer to people: they are the salt springs that are found everywhere in Provence. This precious salt demonstrates the presence of a marine environment in these places during the Mesozoic era, 220 million years ago. The Saint-André is rich in sources of this type.
