X Country - Altitude: max 710m/mini 404m. With this route, discover Sauveterre de Comminges and its hamlets from above. A complete itinerary for all good mountain bikers, where you'll find all the ingredients for a great technical ride. The climbs can be short and technical or long and rolling, accompanied by a variety of descents. No calf muscles!

X Country - Altitude: max 648m/mini 436m. Set off to discover the heritage of the Piedmont region, with its thermal baths, lake and ancient stones. This mountain bike ride will leave you feeling refreshed but also a little sweaty. Due to its profile, this circuit is one of the most technical rides in Piedmont. The route consists mainly of single-track trails. You will encounter short but challenging climbs, but your efforts will be rewarded with fun descents.

X Country - Altitude: max 516m/mini 403m. Discover some of the eleven hamlets that make up the extended village of Sauveterre de Comminges. This easy route alternates between tracks and single-track trails in the woods. Take care on the descent to the hamlet of Lôo, which can become slippery in wet weather. You can make a short detour and climb up to the chapel and the Barry tower, an ancient medieval enclosure with breathtaking views.

Take a stroll through the hamlets of Sauveterre-de-Comminges, culminating in the 11th-century keep. This walk takes you through forests and open paths. You will pass through four of the 11 hamlets that make up Sauveterre-de-Comminges and follow sections of the GR86 trail.

An easy hike starting from the pretty village of Malvezie, mainly in the forest. You will enjoy a peaceful hike in the Frontignes, passing by old barns before returning via the charming hamlet of Vignaut.

A gourmet hike is organized on the Trail at P'art on Thursday, July 23 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Hiking open to all. Jump in your walking shoes for a gourmet day in a picturesque village of the Astarac: Simorre! Accompanied by a Pass'enGers guide, you will start the day with a 4 km hike (80 m cumulative elevation gain) on the A p'Art trail. This course is punctuated by works of art in the heart of nature and offers a beautiful panorama of the Gers hills. At the end of the hike, you will discover the history of this picturesque village where wooden houses and brick architecture compete in elegance, as well as the architecture of the abbey-church redesigned by Viollet-Le-Duc. At lunchtime, a gourmet picnic awaits you, consisting only of local products: duck and black pork terrines, vegetarian tartines, melon, floc de Gascogne and craft beers, Côtes de Gascogne wine, apple juice, biscuits... Everything comes from a radius of 50 km maximum. In the afternoon, you will be able to visit independently the peasant museum, and admire its reproductions of mastodons (not included in the price). This is a Roman building from the 11th and 12th Centuries. The Collégiale is an important Comminges religious site with its cloister and chapter house, which was one of the cathedral chapters, the clerics, established by Bishop Bertrand. Built in the 11th century and raised in the 12th century, the Collegiate Church houses a remarkable collection of Romanesque sculptures (capitals and bas-reliefs). You can also admire the three Aubusson tapestries dating from the middle of the 18th century, and the 17th-century organs with a Cavaillé-Coll instrument. The bell tower, built in the 19th century, has one of the most beautiful carillons in the Midi-Pyrénées region. Discover the cloister and chapter house (12th-13th centuries). The collegiate church can be visited every day except when there is a scheduled service.

Plus bas, à l'intersection avec une piste plus large, tournez à gauche et redescendez en direction de la route goudronnée en bas du chemin de croix.Alternative : possibilité lorsque vous êtes à la chapelle, de redescendre vers votre véhicule en empruntant la route goudronnée qui suit le calvaire. A la croix VII, vue panoramique sur le village de Valentine, la centrale EDF, le lac de Sède.

A former Cistercian abbey and granddaughter of Cîteaux, founded in 1136, the Bonnefont monastery was largely dismantled in the 19th century and its parts sold off. Open to the public from June to September: guided historical tours, medieval garden, exhibitions, concerts, lectures, workshops, etc. From its creation in 1136 until its dismantling in the 19th century, Bonnefont Abbey was one of the most important religious and economic players in southern Toulouse. In particular, it was responsible for the creation of numerous bastides (fortified towns) such as Boussens, Carbonne and Plaisance du Touch. Most of its buildings were sold after the Revolution, which explains why today the site consists solely of the Porterie, the Bâtiment des convers, the Lavabo and a few other pieces of architecture. The Syndicat Mixte de l'Abbaye de Bonnefont, made up of the Conseil Départemental de la Haute-Garonne and the Communauté de communes Cagire Garonne Salat, offers a rich programme of cultural events (concerts, workshops, lectures, etc.) throughout the summer. Guided tours of the history of the site and the medieval garden during the afternoons when the site is open (times vary according to the season, see the events programme). Unguided visits outside guided tour times. Themed tours of the garden are organised every Sunday at 3pm during the season.

A museum dedicated to RIZLA CROIX from 1874 to 1994. Open 2026: from 16 April to September, Wednesday to Saturday, 2pm to 6pm. Visits are provided by volunteers from the association. For groups wishing to visit outside these hours, please call the town hall on 05 61 97 48 22. In 1860 L. Lacroix, an industrialist coming from a paper dynasty in the Charentes region, rented a former paper-mill that was installed on some old mills. This is how the legendary Rizla Croix cigarette rolling paper was born… The museum started in 1994. Even if Rizla’s manufacturing was terminated at this site, the museum reviews 2 centuries of labourer history and relates the entire manufacture process.

Come and enjoy your holiday in this charming character house, located in a pretty, peaceful little village near the Pyrénées! Ideal for 6 people (up to 8 possible, please contact us), you can relax by taking a leisurely stroll around the ruins of its castle or by taking a spa treatment nearby. Sports enthusiasts (hiking, mountain biking, fishing, paragliding, golf, etc.) and nature lovers will also find plenty to do here. All shops and a market selling local produce (Wednesday and Saturday mornings) are 15 minutes away in the village of Aspet, the starting point for a number of hiking and mountain-biking trails. The house of 145m2 includes a kitchen, a dining room with fireplace and a living room with TV and a laundry room with washing machine. Upstairs you will find 3 bedrooms with beds 160x 200 including a family room with a nook where there are additionally two beds 90x190 (nested). (Bed linen and towels can be provided for an additional €30, payable on site). This means that, exceptionally, we can sleep 8 people. There is also a separate bathroom and toilet on the first floor. Outside there is a sheltered sitting area and a sheltered barbecue area. There is a small garden in front of the house and a very large garden to the side, but the two are adjoining. cars can park in the courtyard. Montespan is located 1h from Toulouse, 1h from Spain, 55min from Luchon, 30min from St Girons, 40min from St Bertrand de Comminges and 45min from the nearest ski resort, le Mourtis: an ideal place to enjoy all kinds of activities without spending hours in the car!

As an LPO site, you will be able to see several species of birds, depending on the season, coming to drink from the ponds, in the gardens all sorts of shrubs feed them during the winter. A particularly remarkable variety of irises, daylilies and collectors' lotuses, depending on the season, welcome you amidst a collection of around thirty citrus fruits and a host of Mediterranean plants.
