This walk between sea and countryside takes in the new Voie Verte in Bidart, from the mouth of the Uhabia to the Bassilour mill. Its hard, rolling sand-colored surface will be a landmark. Well-equipped, it will delight families with its footbridges, play areas and rest areas. Posts provide orientation at every crossroads. Its unusual length makes it perfectly accessible all the way to the chapel.

The Voie Verte de l'Uhabia is a soft path, shared by pedestrians and bicycles. This 6km walk starts at the Uhabia estuary, runs along its banks, bypasses the Ur Onea retention basin and continues to the Bassilour mill. Immersion in the heart of an artisan production of one of the most beautiful Basque traditions. Discover a water mill with a horizontal wheel, in operation since 1741, as well as the grinding of corn and wheat grains with stone millstones. The water of the river is held back by a dam to create a height of fall that will be the mill's source of energy. Artisanal production of shortbread, Basque cakes, farmhouse breads, metures (corn flour breads) and loaves (aniseed corn cakes).

Proudly erected between the presbytery and the former post office, this monument is the work of one of the Gomez brothers, architects from Bayonne.
