About 750 objects stemming from 87 present archeological sites in the collections of the museum are presented within an alive and interactive permanent exhibition. A discovery trail and observatories allow visitors to discover the incredible landscapes of the site and the multitude of bird species that have found refuge there. Il fut érigé à l'endroit où se trouvait l'ancienne roseraie du château et restauré en 2009 après que la Mairie d'Ecouen en est récupéré la propriété. Situé pas loin du centre-ville, entre la Mairie et le château, il accueille aujourd'hui l'espace Chappe dédié au télégraphe, l'espace Louis Théophile Hingre grand sculpteur du XIXe siècle et Léon Hingre, son fils, grand artiste du XIXe siècle également.
