Description
A discovery tour around the Brie de Meaux AOP is waiting for you.
Reconstructions and dramatizations will help you learn more about the history of this famous cheese. You'll discover the different stages in its production, from milk harvesting to cellar maturing. Then you'll learn about the current challenges facing Brie de Meaux PDO, proudly represented by its Confrérie.
Brie and local events are on offer all year round! Workshops, tastings, exhibitions - there's something for everyone!
Booklets in English, Dutch, German, Spanish and Italian are available free of charge to accompany your visit to the Maison du Brie de Meaux.
To round off your visit, we offer guided tastings on Saturdays and Sundays at 11am and 4pm, with online booking.

Full price: €4 Reduced rate : 3 € (under 26, over 65, residents of the CAPM (Communauté d'Agglomération du Pays de Meaux) and the CCPO (Communauté de Communes du Pays de l'Ourcq), students, jobseekers, social security recipients). Free admission: Every 1st Sunday of the month, for children under 4, "Balad'pass 77" cardholders, teachers, members of the Grand Council of the Confrérie du Brie de Meaux, disabled people and their companions, tourism and cultural professionals, journalists.

From 01/04 to 31/10 daily between 10 am and 12.30 pm and between 2 pm and 6 pm. Closed exceptionally on May 1st. Last entry 30 minutes before closing time. From 01/11 to 31/03 on Sunday between 2 pm and 5 pm. On Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday between 10 am and 12.30 pm and between 2 pm and 5 pm. Closed exceptionally on January 1st and December 25th.
