SCULPTURES IMAGINED BY CHILDREN AND MADE BY STUDENTS All started from the communal will to develop an educational, environmental and cultural project of territory, concretized thanks to the imagination of the teacher and the pupils of CM2 of the school of Isle Verte and to the meeting with an eco-interpreter with whom they worked on the artistic interpretation of the fauna and the flora met on these 8 kilometers of green way.

Facing the Atlantic Ocean, the 34 hectares of the Conservatoire's property in the commune of Soorts-Hossegor, form a well-preserved dune barrier of sufficient height and width to hide from beach users the residential areas hidden under the forest fringe. Between the ocean beach to the west and the Boulevard du Front de Mer which runs along the back dune to the east, the site is 95% composed of non-forested dunes. The natural forest edge is almost absent, only a few relics are present in the central zone, but are quite degraded. The dune is gently sloping on the beach side and steeper to the east. It is covered with sparse vegetation. It is a beautiful example of a dune of the south Landes coastline, which is rare and not very prone to erosion.
