Admire the 10th-century church of Saint-Gervais et Saint Prothais, with its Carolingian nave. Stroll through the town's narrow streets and lick the windows of its various shops. En route, stop off at the town of Clermont, which boasts a beautiful 13th-century church, a town hall with atypical architecture and a very pleasant town center! This greenway will take you on a journey through bucolic landscapes and soothing forests!

From the Middle Ages to the 20th century, education was very much alive in Beauvais, with illustrious pupils including Jean Racine and Félix Faure. The town still boasts some monumental lycées, or "school palaces", reflecting the important debates on public education at the end of the 19th century.

This route was built on a former railway sidetrack. It offers a beautiful recreational area, from the gates of Beauvais to the hedged farmland and wet meadows of the Pays de Bray and then Normandy. The route follows the banks of the Thérain river, past post-war buildings and glimpses of Saint-Pierre cathedral, an unfinished Gothic masterpiece, before joining the Avelon river, its small bridges and ancient mills, and the Saint-Paul amusement park. The route then offers a variety of bucolic landscapes: ponds, beautiful farms and small houses that remind us that Normandy is close at hand. Numerous gaps through the curtains of trees and shrubs reveal fields and pastures of varied colors. To the west of Lachapelle-aux-Pots, the verges are wooded and much shadier. At Saint-Germer-de-Fly, the greenway leaves the Oise to join the Seine-Maritime.

A very varied hike in terms of scenery, around the Plan d?eau du Canada and the Bois Brûlet. The route alternates between open stretches and forest paths, a busy section around the Plan d?eau du Canada and quieter sections in the forest. Explanatory panels along the way will help you discover the local flora and fauna, and the activities offered by the Plan d?eau du Canada Visitor Centre will help you relax after your hike.

A landscape artist deep down in his heart, he has created a vast poetic setting, a 17-acre sculpture garden dotted with 70 of his famous works that celebrate nature, surrounding a family chateau, listed as a "Remarkable Garden" by the French Ministry of Culture. The artist and sculptor also creates works of art for public places, companies and private individuals and holds contemporary art exhibitions on the ground floor of the chateau where he lives. His studio can be visited by appointment for groups during a visit of the garden, for special projects or at the end of the garden opening hours from 4 to 6 pm at weekends if available.
