Parking : D11, in the center of the village, close to the church. Walking trail : start in front of the church. Follow the road to the Petit Paradis. At the crossroads, turn left and follow the road du Petit Tholy (red disc/yellow ring). At the intersection of the forest roads, take the small stony path that descends towards the Trou de l’Enfer (red ring). After a few rather difficult meters you will arrive at this gorge. Possible stop at the small bridge which crosses the Barba creek. Go back on your steps. Weather conditions may make this route impassable.

Enjoy a Swiss cheese tasting and learn more about the national dish: fondue.  Learn to make your own Swiss fondue and try the traditional dish.  After your meal, relax and climb on board the Golden Express, a panoramic train which crosses the alpine pastures and the heights of Lake Geneva. Enjoy incredible views of the lake and the Alps. When you get off the train, get back on your bus and head to Lavaux and its terraced vineyards. The Noir Rupt pond is a small private fishing pond made available to the Tholy AAPPMA (fishing licence required). It is not possible to walk around it.

The chapel, the work of sculptor Jean Parisse, was consecrated on 11 September 1946 in the presence of the Bishop of Saint-Dié, Monseigneur Blanchet. It was erected in gratitude to the Virgin Mary for the protection she afforded the inhabitants during the German retreat and liberation of 1944.

Near the Pierre Charlemagne housing estate, an information plaque tells you that you've come to the right place: a magnificent view of the mountains with the Honeck in the background.

Tendon Waterfall is the longest waterfall in the Vosges. It is a remarkably cool oasis. It is located in the midst of the woods and is about 30 metres long and has stone flanks. About 1km away, 20 minutes walking distance, the small waterfall of Tendon breaks the silence of the forest with its breath-taking fall. There is a forest road between the two waterfalls. Special facilities for the kids. From Le Tholy, go in the direction of Épinal. Turn left towards the Grande Cascade de Tendon waterfall. Follow this road to the car park at the foot of the Grande Cascade waterfall which is 50 m (double waterfall 32 m). There are two ways in which you can reach the Petite Cascade de Tendon waterfall: walk along the 2km marked path which leads you to La Petite Cascade; by car, take the road towards Épinal.

Legend has it that a minstrel, returning from a wedding at nightfall, came across a tall, lean, richly-dressed man. After much flattery, the man offered to come and play for him in his castle at the same spot the following day, in exchange for gold coins. The musician, impressed and full of pride, went to the rendezvous at the appointed hour. He found a tall, dark palace lit by blazing flames. The man began to play, gradually realizing that he was playing for his deceased loved ones and that he couldn't stop... A spell he broke by playing a holy tune. From then on, everything disappeared, and the man woke up on the banks of the Barba stream. The legend of the Trou de l'Enfer was born...

Rehaupal's church is located in the center of the village. It was built in 1723. It was decorated with stained glass windows by the master glass artist Gabriel Loire.
