



Legend has it that a minstrel, returning from a wedding at nightfall, came across a tall, lean, richly-dressed man. After much flattery, the man offered to come and play for him in his castle at the same spot the following day, in exchange for gold coins.
The musician, impressed and full of pride, went to the rendezvous at the appointed hour. He found a tall, dark palace lit by blazing flames. The man began to play, gradually realizing that he was playing for his deceased loved ones and that he couldn't stop... A spell he broke by playing a holy tune. From then on, everything disappeared, and the man woke up on the banks of the Barba stream. The legend of the Trou de l'Enfer was born...
