From point 5 of the Demoiselles trail. At the road, turn right and walk along the cemetery. Pass in front of the church. At the crossroads with the RD64, turn right, then 20 m later, take the lane on the left. 150 m further on, at the crossroads, notice the house dating from 1832. Turn left on the road, then 20 m after, take the dirt track which climbs to the right. At Courbefy, turn left onto the wide stone path to reach the car park.

The Demoiselles trail invites you to discover a beautiful forest with many viewpoints. The quality of the paths is appreciated (beautiful sunken paths winding through chestnut coppice). More than half the route is shaded. The village of Saint-Nicolas-Courbefy opens its doors to you with its unexpected architectural heritage, well worth a visit (beautiful little chapel and a house dating from 1832). The ancient village of Courbefy will whet the curiosity of some. Don't miss the good fountains just before you reach Courbefy. A sporty route for some, as the paths are hilly. You're in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional Périgord-Limousin on the edge of the Dordogne.

In Ladignac, you'll find the church of Saint-Agnant. You can also see the 17th-century château de Ladignac. One of the special features of this hike is the forest, typical of the Limousin forests. You'll also pass through the "Trou du Loup". In 2004, ornithologists captured 2 woodcocks and a common snipe (a very rare species).

Located in the woods on the hillside, the Courbefy fountains are among the most famous in Haute-Vienne. Near the first fountain, whose source is protected by a stone dome, stands a wooden cross. On each of its branches hang scarves, handkerchiefs, socks, ribbons? Some of these ex-votos are faded and weathered, while others are well ironed and clean. The first, the most important, is said to have the power to cure "saint's sickness", as well as headaches and rheumatism. Our aim is to produce a quality honey that reflects the biodiversity of the land from which it was harvested, so we extract our honey hive by hive, without blending.
