Les Bonnes Fontaines Saint-Eutrope

Located in the woods on the hillside, the Courbefy fountains are among the most famous in Haute-Vienne.
Near the first fountain, whose source is protected by a stone dome, stands a wooden cross. On each of its branches hang scarves, handkerchiefs, socks, ribbons? Some of these ex-votos are faded and weathered, while others are well ironed and clean. The first, the most important, is said to have the power to cure "saint's sickness", as well as headaches and rheumatism. The second is said to be good for the kidneys, but for others, it also cures rheumatism. People rub their knees and elbows with the water? The third, less frequented, is said to cure toothache.
