Glandon, a village on the outskirts of St-Yrieix, is perched on a hill at around 380 metres. Until half a century ago, the village of Moissac was home to fourteen tombs dating back to the Iron Age (600 BC). Today, this small village retains a remarkable heritage, notably with its two fountains, St-Sernin and Ste-Radegonde, and its 12th-century church. The cycle route 56 from Saint-Yrieix-la-Perche to Limoges will make you discover the town of Saint-Yrieix-la-Perche, its historic streets, its collegiate church, and its gourmet specialities: the madeleine, the apple and the black-bottomed pig. You will drive along pleasant country roads, through the towns of Saint-Hilaire-les-places and Nexon, and pass near the Châlucet castle located in Saint-Jean-Ligoure.

the "Sentier des 2 collines" (Path of the 2 hills) follows the south-western side (Aumônière district) and the north-eastern side (church and cemetery side) of the village. Camille and Alicia, new professional beekeepers, offer their annual production of honey, pollen, royal jelly and propolis, harvested in the Valentine woods in the heart of the green Limousin forests.

Remodeled in the 15th century, this church is dedicated to Saint Saturnin. It houses a 16th-century funerary liter by the De Bonneval family, a gold-leaf fresco depicting the Doge of Venice's homage to Pope Julius II, a 16th-century wooden Pieta, a 16th-century Madonna of the Rosary, etc. Magnificent frescoes were discovered inside during restoration work. The church has been listed as a Historic Monument since 1978.

Dating from the 15th century and restored in the 16th century, its function was to prolong the wake and protect the souls of the dead from evil spirits with its ever-reviving light. According to oral tradition, it served as a landmark for lost travelers and as a warning in the event of a plague epidemic in the village.

Lynn Carr is a mushroom grower. She grows a range of culinary and medicinal mushrooms. She produces a selection of oyster mushrooms, which change with the season, shiitake, hedgehog and reishi. Other interesting mushroom varieties are in the pipeline. She grows her mushrooms on a wood-based substrate, sourced from a local sawmill a few kilometers from the farm. All stages, from the preparation of the mycelium to the harvesting of the mushrooms, are carried out on the farm, enabling us to offer quality mushrooms, free from chemicals and pesticides.
