Description
Dating from the 15th century and restored in the 16th century, its function was to prolong the wake and protect the souls of the dead from evil spirits with its ever-reviving light. According to oral tradition, it served as a landmark for lost travelers and as a warning in the event of a plague epidemic in the village.
