The circuit of the sources of the Dronne is a very beautiful hike in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional Périgord-Limousin. During the walk, many panoramas are visible on the plateaus of Saint-Yrieix-la-Perche and the mountains of Châlus.

The village of Montcigoux, on the border between the Dordogne, home to the ancient Pétrocores tribe, and the Haute Vienne, home to the Lémovices tribe, is a fine example of vernacular architecture, dominated by a castle with a strange history. PDIPR hiking trails

Hardened runners will be delighted to walk through the forests of Les Cars and Lastours in the footsteps of Richard the Lionheart. Through these two forests, between fir trees and chestnut trees, you will wind your way along this almost half-marathon circuit with some technical passages and steep climbs up to the château des Cars.

For experienced runners, this long course alternates between technical passages, good climbs and Limousin landscapes to allow you to push your limits. Criss-crossing between the forests of Les Cars and Lastours to the sources of the Dronne and crossing the Landes, your journey will take you to the château des Cars.

The Demoiselles trail invites you to discover a beautiful forest with many viewpoints. The quality of the paths is appreciated (beautiful sunken paths winding through chestnut coppice). More than half the route is shaded. The village of Saint-Nicolas-Courbefy opens its doors to you with its unexpected architectural heritage, well worth a visit (beautiful little chapel and a house dating from 1832). The ancient village of Courbefy will whet the curiosity of some. Don't miss the good fountains just before you reach Courbefy. A sporty route for some, as the paths are hilly. You're in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional Périgord-Limousin on the edge of the Dordogne.

A short walk for hikers that will take you to the source of the river Dronne and along the interpretation trail of the moors and wetlands.

Established in Haute-Vienne in 2019, La Ruche Pass Abeilles produces jarred French honeys in the pure beekeeping tradition. Our aim is to produce a quality honey that reflects the biodiversity of the land from which it was harvested, so we extract our honey hive by hive, without blending. Yves is very attached to the authenticity of his products. That's why the date and place of harvest are carefully indicated on his jars - optional information, but so important to the quality of the honey. He has several apiaries in Bussière-Galant, Pageas and Saint-Pierre-de-Frugie. La Ruche Pass Abeilles offers a wide range of products, including honey, brewed honey, gingerbread, wax and candles. Located in the woods on the hillside, the Courbefy fountains are among the most famous in Haute-Vienne. Near the first fountain, whose source is protected by a stone dome, stands a wooden cross. On each of its branches hang scarves, handkerchiefs, socks, ribbons? Some of these ex-votos are faded and weathered, while others are well ironed and clean. The first, the most important, is said to have the power to cure "saint's sickness", as well as headaches and rheumatism. The second is said to be good for the kidneys, but for others, it also cures rheumatism. People rub their knees and elbows with the water? The third, less frequented, is said to cure toothache. In 1970, there was still a popular pilgrimage.

On her "Bienvenue à la Ferme" (Welcome to the Farm) and "Haute Valeur Environnementale" (High Environmental Value) certified farm, Anne Paraud looks after some thirty Alpine goats and cultivates 17 hectares of fields to provide her animals with their food, which she produces independently. All the milk produced is transformed on site into lactic cheeses, which she makes in her laboratory: farmhouse goat cheeses made from whole raw milk, fresh, semi-dry, dry, ashy, seasoned, logs, tommes, etc. Direct sales at the farm every evening around 5pm from March to November. Sales at local craft and farmers' markets in summer, and at the weekly market in Flavignac on Wednesday mornings from 10am to 12pm, from April to December.
