This itinerary, which links the Atlantic to the Black Sea, runsalong the three longest European rivers, the Loire, the Rhine andthe Danube, from Nantes to Budapest. In Alsace, it runs along theRhone-Rhine canal through the Sundgau area, Mulhouse, Kembsand Huningue - Montreux-Vieux / Mulhouse station: 35 km- Mulhouse station / Huningue: 33 km- Total Elevation Montreux-Vieux / Huningue: 50m

As this trail crosses the Strasbourg – Molsheim – St Dié and Strasbourg – Sélestat – Colmar railway lines, it can be done stage by stage and you can easily return to your starting point.

From Franche-Comté to Switzerland, EuroVelo 6 follows the Rhône-Rhine canal into Alsace, passing the impressive ladder of twelve locks of Valdieu-Lutran in its southern part. After arriving in Mulhouse, the route continues along the banks of the Rhône-Rhine Canal to Kembs. From there, via the towpath of the 403000002 into Germany and then into Switzerland to Basel.

Wend your way along the winding roads of Alsace interweaving through the network of villages that make up this trail along the watershed. At the heart of Sundgau, you will take the former towpaths of the Rhône-to-Rhine Canal with locks dotted along the way (away from the road and rail routes linking Bourgogne and Alsace).

A real sporting challenge, this route is aimed at experienced cyclists. Why not do it over two days? Take a break to explore the cultural and heritage attractions of Delle, Porrentruy, Boncourt and Brebotte. Mixing greenways (Eurovélo6, francovélosuisse, voie verte de la Largue in Alsace) and steep country roads, this is a challenging loop.

From the farm inn Lochberg, two circuits are possible to walk between forests and pastures. Easy walk with family.

On the Crêtes: from Baerenkopf to Sudel Access - Departure - Route From Masevaux, follow signs for Ballon d'Alsace as far as the village of Kirchberg. Follow signs for Kirchberg-centre and Lachtelweiher. Leave the village and drive on the mountain road for about 3.5km to Lac du Lachtelweiher. Follow the road around the lake and park in the parking lot indicated on the right below the road. Places of interest: Ferme Auberge du Lochberg & Ferme Auberge du Bruckenwald, Lac du Lachtelweiher, Oratoire de la Vierge, Ligne de crête, Abri du Neuberg, Bearenkopf with viewpoint.

From the farmhouse inn Bruckenwald, a nice walk of about 2 hours is offered to you. Discover beautiful landscapes between forests and pastures at 800 m altitude and beautiful views.

The farm inn inn Entzenbach is nestled in the valley of the same name, at 620 m altitude. Away from the great hiking trails, it offers a quiet place to visitors.

They are intended for hikers and accessible only on foot. Free access all year and free! This cottage is at the bottom of the communal orchard of fruit trees. Inside you will find a stove to warm you up (to use with care and to extinguish before the departure). Also at your disposal a barbecue. Hiking shoes are recommended.

Enjoy a Swiss cheese tasting and learn more about the national dish: fondue.  Learn to make your own Swiss fondue and try the traditional dish.  After your meal, relax and climb on board the Golden Express, a panoramic train which crosses the alpine pastures and the heights of Lake Geneva. With its pedestrian city center Masevaux has become a very welcoming city. Flowered city with 4 flowers - national grand prix in 2000 and the fleur d'Or in 2015. Remains of the old Abbey of Masevaux, artisanal and industrial tools. Opening of the museum in summer with a themed exhibition, the Museum Night and the Heritage Days.

The church was built in 1786, when the first walls were constructed, carks appeared on them, stopping work for many years.It was only in 1837 that wok started again with the architect Kuen, finishing in 1842. In 1966 a great fire entirely destroyed the church. It took fice years to rebuild it again , in the original noeclassical design. Before the great fire the church housed the famous organs built by the Callinet brothers.The largest were as large as the Nave. The largest that the Callinet's had ever (19m). A new organ was built in 1975 by Akfred Kern from Strasbourg, completed with a Schwenkedel heart organ (1972). Thanks to both of these instruments, the International Organ festival has taken place in Masevaux since 1977, contributing to Masevaux's renown.
