Beautiful hike that will require you to take the time to walk forest paths and coastal path, to not miss anything of these 2 majestic capes Lardier & Taillat, treasures of beauty and wonderful landscapes. Follow the yellow signs. From Gigaro beach, at the entrance to Domaine du Cap Lardier, follow the signs for “Cap Lardier” along the Sentier du Littoral. Once at Cap Lardier, continue along the path to reach Plage de la Briande and the Cap Taillat isthmus. Continue along the Sentier du Littoral. At the elongated building (la Douane), follow the track on the left up to the asphalt road. At this point, take the Route Forestière de la Tourraque Ouest (white and red barrier). At cistern no. RTE04, turn left to cistern CVR02 (do not go right) to return to the Route Forestière des Brouis. At this point, turn left to the next crossroads, then right and immediately left (leave the umbrella pines behind). Follow the signs for “plage de Gigaro” to return to the starting point.

From Gigaro beach, at the entrance to Domaine du Cap Lardier, follow the signs for “Cap Lardier” along the Sentier du Littoral. Once at Cap Lardier, continue along the path to reach Plage de la Briande. At the start of the beach, follow the signs to the left, take the path alongside the ganivelles, follow the path through the undergrowth, at the intersection cross the track following the yellow signs, go along the top of the farmland, at the end of the farmland take the path alongside the fence. At the intersection, turn left onto the dirt track that climbs up (do not turn right), follow this track to the next bend, then leave the track for a path on the right that descends through the vegetation to reach an intersection opposite the vines with 2 wooden steps, following the signs to the right. At the next intersection, follow the signs to the left for Plage de Gigaro, then go straight ahead on the dirt track. At the green gate, follow the signs to the right, taking a path through the undergrowth to find the Route Forestière de Gigaro. Turn right and follow the track and “Plage de Gigaro” signs back to the starting point.

Take the coastal path from Gigaro beach. A exceptional and carefully protected natural environment, take the opportunity to have a swim break at Jovat beach, then visit the marine Trail of the crocodile island. Follow the yellow signs. From Gigaro beach, at the entrance to Domaine du Cap Lardier, follow the signs for “Cap Lardier” along the Sentier du Littoral. Continue to Brouis beach. At the beach, head up the valley to join the Route Forestière de Gigaro. Turn left to return to the starting point. Dogs are welcome on the Cap Lardier estate, as long as they are kept on a leash. Walk along the coastal path and the Port-Cros National Park at Gigaro to the semaphore via the peninsulas of Cap Lardier and Cap Taillat Follow the yellow markings. At the entrance of the Domaine du Cap Lardier, Plage de Gigaro, take Sentier du Littoral. Walk past Plage des Brouis and Pointe d’Andati and walk up Pins Blancs (Difficult climb). Follow the signs Vieux Sémaphore. Walk past it at the green tank. After the tank, leave the sign Cap Lardier on your right and turn left to walk towards the vineyards. At the wooden barrier, on your left, walk downhill following Plage de Gigaro until you reach a metallic gate. At the gate, take the path on the right and follow the stream. Once you reach the intersection with Route Forestière de Gigaro, turn right to head back to your starting point.

The Panoramas of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez and Cavalaire Bay lead you from the village of Gassin to La Croix-Valmer through forest and rural landscapes and beautiful views. This hiking trail takes up part of the GR 51 and offers splendid views of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, the Bay of Cavalaire, the Pays des Maures, and the villages Gassin and Grimaud.

From the hilltop village, the path leads you to the sea, offering remarkable views of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. You arrive at the Marines de Gassin and its shops passing near the Bourrian wineyard estate and the Stud / Polo Club. The return path is accessible to hikers, mountain bikers and riders who will appreciate the breathtaking view of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. This beautiful airy and shaded track offers you a glimpse of the diversity of the Gassin flora (pine forest, vineyard, oaks, broom, laurels). You can enjoy the beach and swimming (supervised in season) before your return. Practical information : In summer, be sure to inform yourself before your departure that the trail is not closed because of the fire risk (information on the Var prefecture website or at the tourist office). You will find a small watch on your route that you can bypass if necessary by taking a path a little further to the right. Also be careful during hunting not to take the trail if it is blocked. Be careful when crossing country roads without a protected passage. The path allows you to join the protected multimodal track to reach Port Grimaud on your left and Saint-Tropez on your right. Course: • from Place Louis Collomp, descend towards the cemetery and go around it on the left (passage in front of the monument to Saint Joseph) by following the sign "Villevieille"; • take the path on the left (50 m) then follow the Villevieille track; • follow this track for 2.5 kilometers (you pass near the Brûlat mill and then the Heraklée villa, former property of Gunther Sachs when it conquered the heart of Brigitte Bardot); • cross the Bourrian road and find a path a few meters on your left which, after a lookout, takes you to Chemin de la Plaine, through the vineyards of the Bourrian domain (1.15 km); • arrived at the RD98a near Interhome, follow the sidewalk on your right (170 m) (Note: the La Foux shopping center is on your left about 300 m). • turn left at the roundabout towards the Marines de Gassin (180 m); • at the second roundabout, go straight past the shops of the Marines de Gassin (Bar-tabac des Marines, Tour de Pizz ', Ciao Belli; on Place Le Pitchoun, Sandrée Coiffure, the May Flower laundromat) ; • you can then continue to the beach (200 meters on the right). You will find the Marines and the port of Cogolin on your left.

Go back to the Gallo-Roman era with a tour of the Roman archaeological crypt! GO BACK TO THE GALLO-ROMAN TIMES WITH A TOUR OF THE ROMAN ARCHAEOLOGICAL CRYPT AND FISHPONDS! This crypt, found during excavations in 2010 and 2012, is a unique remnant dating back to the Roman colony, Forum Julii. The pink sandstone from the Esterel Massif mountains was used to build the crypt as well as all the old monuments in Fréjus. At the heart of the crypt you will be able to admire the fish pond, the water system, the aqueduct's arches and the big collector, all survivors from past centuries. From beach of Gigaro, at the entrance of the Domaine du Cap Lardier, take the coastal footpath and follow “Cap Lardier”. Once at the Cap Lardier, follow the path all the way to Plage de Briande. Once on the beach, follow the yellow markings on your left, follow the path along the fence, stay on the trail in the undergrowth. At the intersection, cross the trail while following the yellow markings, walk alongside the farming plot. At the far end of this path, take the path running along the fence. At the intersection, take the path climbing on your left (do not turn right), keep walking until the bend and turn right to take the path running down through the vegetation all the way to a crossing facing the vineyards and 2 wooden steps. Follow the markings and turn right. At the next intersection, turn left and follow the markings indicating "Plage de Gigaro", follow the trail straight ahead of you. At the green front gate, follow the markings on your right and take the trail running through the undergrowth to head back towards the inland track “Route Forestière de Gigaro”. Turn right and follow the route and indications “Plage de Gigaro” to head back at the departure point

Cap Lardier is the first of three capes on the Saint-Tropez peninsula. Classified in 1930, it boasts 6 km of coastline protected from real estate development. Pedestrian paths wind through its Mediterranean pine forest, with its 3 characteristic pines.

Cap Taillat: the natural jewel of the Saint-Tropez peninsula. Sandwiched between Cap Lardier and Cap Camarat, it differs from the other two by its sandy isthmus. It offers breathtaking views of the other two capes and the Hyères islands.

Set off on an adventure among the fabulous posidonia meadows, enjoy the beauty of the “anemone garden”, and marvel at the mystery of the wreck of the Cimentier! Access is from the Cap Lardier coastal path (20 min. walk).

Heaven on Earth… is accessible via the coastal path, a 45-minute walk from Gigaro. You will need to bring a hat, your picnic and some water.

At the beginning of the 19th century, a semaphore with masts and a Napoleonic battery were set up on the cape to ensure coastal military defence.

Deï Barri's orientation table gives you a remarkable view of Gassin.
