The Réserve Naturelle Nationale des Étangs du Romelaëre is the natural jewel of the Audomarois marshlands, with over 100 hectares of protected nature in the heart of France's largest cultivated marshland. The Blongios trail starts at the Grange Nature and runs for 2.8 km through the reserve. This wooden pathway on stilts (decking) allows you to explore the marsh in the dry, on foot or in a wheelchair, and discover the local flora and fauna.At the end of the path, the ornithological observatory offers a unique view of the colony of birds nesting nearby. Egrets, ox-guard herons and cormorants are very much in evidence. The reed beds are also home to many species of birds, including blue-throats and phragmites.Spring is the best time to hear them sing and watch them parade atop the reeds.

Longue de 470 km, cette véloroute qui relie Den Helder, aux Pays-Bas à Boulogne-sur-Mer a été le premier itinéraire international entièrement balisé. L'EuroVelo se poursuite de Campagne-lès-Wardrecques à Aire-sur-la-Lys. Vous longez le canal de Neufossé sur le chemin de halage. Une fois arrivé à Aire-sur-la-Lys vous pouvez vous dirigez vers Béthune en longeant le Canal d'Aire (voie verte) ou vers Saint-Venant puis Merville en empruntant la véloroute de la Lys (voie verte également).

Au départ d'Ardres, cette boucle de 33 km vous donne à voir de nombreux paysages ! Après un petit passage à travers les lacs d'Ardres, vous rejoignez la ville et partez pour la deuxième partie de cette boucle qui vous guide à travers champs et endroits boisés.Pour votre pause pique-nique, arrêtez-vous au promontoire de Belle-vue à Landrethun-lès-Ardres, où vous pourrez profiter d'une jolie vue. Continuez ensuite votre chemin où vous apercevrez la Chapelle Saint-Louis. Située sur le mont Saint-Louis, la chapelle culmine à 112m d'altitude, offrant ainsi un beau panorama sur les paysages alentours.

Saint-Martin’s Church Church built during the Middle-Ages, it belongs to the gothic flamboyant style. Original and picturesque because of the constructions built on the church walls. You can find only two churches like that in Europe, the other one is located in the former Czechoslovakia.

Built in 1600, this is really quite a unique edifice in the region. Of Flemish Renaissance style it was a former guardhouse and now houses the Tourist Office. Temporary exhibitions are regularly held on the first floor.

SAINT-QUENTIN CHURCH Monument of Popular Art from the XVth century, built by the Priest Lecoutre. Since 2008, Bourbourg has been fighting for his Chœur de Lumière.
