Are you ready for a maximum of fun? We propose a tour which mixes two more accessibles tours, with nearly 700 m of positive difference in altitude. These are 55 km, where the bumps, although short, follow one another without respite... This is not a simple ride!

A shaded path crossing the forest in direction of the Michelbach dam, located at the foot of the Grand Ballon. The route runs alongside and crosses the railway line, used in summer by the bucolic steam train "Train Thur Doller Alsace".

Two loops are proposed for this fitness trail: the first is destined for families with 8 apparatus and a loop of 800 m and the second for sportsmen with 2.7 km and 20 apparatus: leap sheep, pull bar, leaping strides... br> The extra of this trail? It's the only one of the department to be adapted for people with reduced mobility. An ideal shady setting to enjoy a nature outing! At halfway, look up and admire the big oak tree!

A nice trail, very various with fields as far as the eye can see and a great panorama of the Vosges and the highest peak: the Grand Ballon. A nice forest leads to the ponds of Roderen and to those of Aspach-Michelbach, hidden in the forest. A route to meditate, breath in the middle of the nature.

A tour to amaze you: it crosses small traditional villages of Alsace and their wild and preserved places... This route offers exceptional views of the highest peak of the Vosges, the Grand Ballon and the Alsace plain, on the detour of the big trees.

On the front line, between bunkers and trenches The tour is punctuated by bunkers which used to mark out the frontline during the first World War. Along the trail you will discover other places such as mills, a washing place and the Hagendorn spring. Historical explanations will be given by signs next to the bunkers. At the edge of the Doller river a shelter made of wood fitted out with a barbecue area will enable to halt. Length: a 9 kilometer loop. Duration: two and half hours. Start: from the church in Burnhaupt-le-bas, follow the red ring.

Start from the vineyards at the southern gateway to the Alsace Wine Route towards the pretty mountain villages. You can admire the magnificent views before cycling alongside the tourist Thur Doller Alsace railway and on towards Michelbach dam, listed as a nature reserve where you can observe several species of birds nesting or merely passing through.

On the heights of Leimbach, this walk through the heart of a very young vineyard offers a 360° view: the Grand Cru du Rangen, its neighbouring vineyards and the Alsace plain. The vineyards of Leimbach produce Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay to create a sparkling wine that is well known in the region: crémant. Starting out from the Oberen Heiden vineyard, take this trail to discover the "Gottestal" vineyard, hidden away in its green setting. Sit on the bench overlooking the vineyard and take a moment to look around you... You're guaranteed to switch off for the duration of the walk. And there's a picnic area at the starting point for a final moment of sharing.

Discover this lovely village, through vines and orchards, while going in the heights to have a better view! The walk will blend in with the track of the botanic trail of Rammersmatt, on the bucolic slopes which make you enjoy the moment and sit on a bench to admire the landscape. Later, an alternative with the discovery of the Mine workers chapel is proposed, a reminder to the mining past of the region. The Faience Factory of Doller is a small artisanal company specialized in the work of the earth. It produces art pottery and objects used in dowsing. Some of our achievements are presented and can be ordered on this site others are to discover in our shop open from Tuesday to Friday or on our Facebook page: Faïencerie de la Doller. Guided tours of the pottery workshop on reservation. Every last weekend of August, there is the Potters' Market, a gathering of 45 exhibitors with entertainment and Raku shows for 3 days!

When you arrive on the road (the old Mulhouse-Belfort main road), you follow and then cross the Steinbaechlein, a river which flows from the Doller at Pont d'Aspach and which flows into the Ill shortly after Mulhouse. The Steinbaechlein once fed a series of mills, and then, from 1746 onwards, made the Mulhouse textile industry rich thanks to its crystal clear water from the Vosges.

At the exit of the forest, a three hundred year old oak tree (circumference 4.70 m) stands like a sentinel opposite the fields.

Opposite the chapel, crossing the road, you can go and admire (200m round trip) the Saint Louis oak tree, probably the oldest in the former seigneury of Heimsbrunn. It is said to be between 300 and 700 years old.

Hidden in the Limberg forest are several remnants of German war shelters from 1914-18 that sheltered the rear lines of the front that was located a few kilometres away, near Burnhaupt-le-Haut.

The chapel of Notre Dame du Chêne, called Ramahay by the locals, was built in 1959 not far from an oak tree which, on the other side of the road, housed a statue of the Virgin and which was struck by lightning in 1947. Since the 19th century, many pilgrims have come to pray here and the chapel is still very popular today, especially on the feast of the Assumption. Next to the chapel, a whole wall is covered with ex votos (thanks to the Virgin).

At the corner of the wood, there is a beautiful view of the village of Galfingue, the peaks of the Black Forest, the Vosges and the Jura.

The cabin, these furniture and the beds were handmade with Vosges wood. The hut was built in the image of the witch, that is to say, a single large room arranged and thought to spend an unusual stay. At your disposal, a kitchenette, with a table and stool for the meal. A double bed and a loft bed for a child. The toilets are in common and are 20 m from the cabin.
