Founded in 1882, the Scourtinerie is unique in France. Formerly used for the traditional extraction of olive oil, scourtins made of coconut fibre, are since 1956 produced for coasters and Provencal rugs in shimmering colours.Founded in 1882 by Ferdinand and Marie Fert, this family business is now run by Frédérique and Arnaud Fert, the great grandchildren of the founders. The scourtin is a filter used for the extraction of olive oil, it is woven from rot-proof and very resistant coconut rope. Since the freeze of 1956, scourtins have also been used as trivets and Provençal rugs. Discover the weaving workshop as well as the scourtin museum which traces the history of the family business through the generations. The Scourtinerie diversifies and launches in 2018 its new original creation: The Umbrella in 100% natural fibre, rot-proof and resistant to bad weather. Open year round. Closed on Sundays. In the family since 1851, the farm is currently run by the 6th generation. Over the last century and a half, production has evolved: wheat and meadows have gradually given way to vines and fruit and vegetable crops. Today, Alain, Rodolphe and Chloé cultivate this 26-hectare estate, 13 of which are cultivated with PDO Côtes du Rhône vines, 7 with fruit trees and 6 with vegetable crops (including 3/4 hectares under glass). All our products are cultivated in a traditional way while respecting the environment thanks to the use of auxiliary insects for integrated pest control under glass. Modern facilities and partial heating of the greenhouses allow us to obtain a spread out and high quality harvest. Since 1976, when direct sales began on the estate, new varieties of fruit and vegetables have regularly been added to our production, in line with nature and the seasons, and to our range of processed artisanal products: tapenade, quince paste, jams, juices and fruit nectars. In 2005, the estate produced its first red Côtes du Rhône, which was the starting point for our "esprit des arches" vintages. Over the years, these wines have regularly won awards in recognised competitions (Paris, Mâcon, etc.) and have been selected in wine guides such as Hachette, Gilbert et Gaillard or Bettane et Desseauve. Your loyalty encourages our perseverance and we hope to satisfy you fully.

L’Huilerie Richard was founded in 1885, in Mollans-sur-Ouvèze in Drôme. My great-grandfather, Henry Richard, made his own olive oil in his mill and then, with the help of his cart and his mule, he went to sell his olive oil, olive and soap production from farm to farm by peddling. Today, the traditions of peddling, local olive oil production and blended olive oils are kept alive in my beautiful French department of Drôme. In the north, in Montoison, we produce walnut oil, hazelnut oil and rapeseed oil. In the south, in Nyons, we produce PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) Nyons olive oil.
