Vallée de cœur from Cochenet - hiking trail

Vallée de cœur from Cochenet - hiking trail

Description

Discover the Vallée de Coeur trail on this walking loop: a hike for good hikers offering breathtaking mountain views.

Discover the Vallée de Coeur hiking trail from Le Cochenet, ideal for experienced hikers (red level).

The route begins in the forest, where the path rises gently before opening out onto the alpine pastures of the Vallée de Coeur.

The trail then takes you up to the ridge at the Petit Pâtre hut, where you can enjoy spectacular views of the Aravis chain and Mont Blanc from the picnic tables provided.

You'll then head towards Tête Noire, before descending into the forest to reach Abérieux and its farm, a point of interest in the village of Cordon. You'll finish your walk sheltered by the trees on a path leading back to the Cochenet parking lot.
