Tricky passages

In springtime, due to snow melt, crossing the last brook before Montvenix can be difficult.

Guidebook with maps/step-by-step

Departure from the church of Landrry, ascent to Martorey by the GR5, then direction Chatelet and Montvenix (Chapelle St Ours and old houses)
At the end of the village, take the path leading down to the Chal d'Hauteville (St Grat chapel and the Tarentaise apple museum).
To the west, a path leads back to Petit Gondon (Ste Agathe chapel). From there the path of St Pantaléon leads to the Grand Gondon (Oratory and St Pantaléon chapel). Follow the road for 200 m to the Villard bridge,
We recommend a detour to the Balastière school orchard (managed by the same association as the apple museum) which is 300 m away.
Or return to the centre of Landry by the path that crosses the meadows on the other side of the bridge.
