Discover a little-known part of the Bauges massif on this attractive 50 km loop, with its varied profile and scenery, reserved for experienced cyclists!
From the Olympic city, you'll follow part of the greenway along the Haute Combe de Savoie towards Ugine and Faverges: the landscapes through which you pass bear witness to both the industrial dynamic and the development of market garden produce. Have you noticed the majestic peak of Mont Charvin? Then there's a lovely, very gradual climb that takes you into the very special world of the mid-mountains, with their beautiful forests and large pastoral openings: you've entered the land of Tamié cheese, recognizable by its beige, slightly creamy paste with a firmer center: a stop at the Abbey where it's made by the monks is a must! Once over the Col de Tamié, a fairly technical descent awaits you back down to the valley: a short detour to the Grignon leisure park will provide you with a well-deserved cool-down after all your hard work!
