A demanding variant of the climb to Plaine-Joux

This waterfall is formed by the Ugine torrent springing from the sides of the Platé mountain. A heart of rock divides the waterfall into two. A promontory enables you to admire the falls.This magnificent waterfall used to provide water for the numerous mills and carpenteries in the proximity. In 2004, the building was classified as a Historic Monument and awarded the "Patrimoine du XXème siècle" label.
