Observatoire du Domaine de Vernange

The Observatoires de l’Etang Chapelier are bird watching observatories located near the village of Versailleux in the heart of the Dombiste Lakes.
There are 2 ultra modern bird watching observatories on the banks of Lake Capelier which is a protected nesting site for a wide range of bird life. The observatories are on stilts above the lake which allow visitors to enjoy some fantastic views of the lake and its wildlife. Lake Capelier Observatories are also an ideal spot for a picnic during the summertime.
