In the 20th century, Alpine shepherds who could not go back down to the valley for mass said their prayers in the chapel led by the eldest amongst them.
The chapel has a four-sided roof topped with a dome-shaped bell and is nestled in the prettiest pasture in the area. After a 2-3 hour walk, you'll reach a group of chalets with wood tiled walls opposite a little circus in the middle of which stands the chapel. According to the parish's property inventory dated 1906, the chapel is called the Chapelle du Muguet.
