Lestelle-Bétharram

Lestelle-Bétharram is a very former place of pilgrimage and is still very busy (September 14th and Sunday which follows). The tradition allude to the fact that the Virgin saved a girl of the drowning there by holding her a big twig under the bridge (bétharram mean "solid wig ' in from Bearn) and more than eighty miracles would have been listed in the XVIIe there century.
