Etape 1

From the car park, head down the track, passing the Maison de la Pêche and continuing along the right bank. The view of the lake and the Pyrenees is superb.
Take the first path up on the left. Enter a wood and take the gravel track down to the lake. Continue along this path, keeping to the edge of the lake. This is a quiet area, designed not to disturb wildlife. The track becomes steeper and crosses the road.
