FORT VAN VAUX
Dit fort van Séré de Rivières is een van de symbolen van de heldenmoed van de Franse soldaten tijdens de slag in 1916. Commandant Raynal en zijn mannen houden de belegering zeven dagen moedig vol, totdat dorst hen het fort doet verlaten… Te zien: de commandopost, ziekenboeg, communicatiepost, duiventil, de kazemat met zijn twee 75-mm kanonnen.
