Het Musée des Traditions et des Barques du Léman ligt in het hart van het historische dorp Saint-Gingolph. Het toont voorwerpen en documenten met betrekking tot de boten van het Meer van Genève en laat ook het leven en de activiteiten van het dorp ten tijde van de boten zien.Het Musée des Traditions et des Barques du Léman is gevestigd in een 16e-eeuws kasteel in het hart van het historische Frans-Zwitserse dorp Saint-Gingolph. Er worden vooral voorwerpen en documenten tentoongesteld met betrekking tot de cochères, kleine transportboten, en de barques du Léman, oude vrachtboten met grote, mooie lateien zeilen, symbolen van het erfgoed van het Meer van Genève. Saint-Gingolph was zelfs de belangrijkste bouwplaats van de barques van het Meer van Genève. Het museum toont ook het leven en de activiteiten van de dorpsgemeenschap ten tijde van de boten: ambachten, exploitatie van de kastanjebossen en bossen, houttransport... Eén zaal is gewijd aan de stoomboten van het Meer van Genève.
