Porte de la Bigorre

Head towards the bridge, pass to the right of the wash house on the left bank of the Ousse. Follow the stream along the grass, cross the footbridge and go around the building on the right. Once you have crossed the Fouriscot area, follow the D175 to the left, taking care with the traffic. Leave the departmental road at the fork towards the Chemin de l'Aumette. Continue along this road for 1.3 km. It climbs gradually and reaches a stop sign at the corner of an old barn.

Turn right onto a gravel path. The slope is steep. Pass the Barn Pass the Bernata barn and continue to (finally) reach the summit. At the fork, take the descent to the right and continue past the farm to climb the track opposite. The track veers to the right and becomes a path, descending along a stream. Descend to the foot of the hill. Be careful, the pebbles on the surface can be slippery in wet weather.

Continue straight on the farm track which veers to the right after the Ousse and joins, through the fields, the Aumette district. Find the road you took on the way there and finish in the opposite direction.
