Bostan mountain refuge
Descrizione
Above Samoëns and isolated in the mountains, the Bostan refuge is the ideal place to welcome hikers for a short break or for the night. Accommodation and catering in the mountains. Home and local products. Pleasure for the eyes and taste buds. .
It overlooks the Giffre valley and the town of Samoëns.
- In summer, it is easily accessible on foot, for everyone in around 1 hour 45 minutes from the Allamands car park and gives the possibility of trekking in a loop for a day or over several days.
- In winter, the valley is a classic for all levels, both on skis and on snowshoes (Col de Bostan - head of Bostan) - about 2 hours.
At the refuge, you will find a warm welcome in a friendly atmosphere. You can eat at noon, and in the evening you quench your thirst at any time and sleep (it is recommended to book in advance).

Sustainable tourism
Each waste is sorted then returned to the valley and the degradable material is composted. Electricity is provided by photovoltaic panels.

- Closest village or station: Samoëns - Access: From the Allamands car park, follow the path (forbidden to motor vehicles, except the keeper and mountaineers) through the forest and the Bostan mountain pasture. You have the option of taking the Palatieu shortcut (for a good walker). IGN Map: TOP 25: 3530 ET
Food and refreshments
For the good and the pleasure of your taste buds, the caretaker has chosen to use organic and local products for the preparation of all our small dishes. A la carte lunch for lunch and a hiker's menu in the evening.
Tips
In summer, the Refuge is located on the GRP des Dents Blanches and Tour du Haut Giffre route. - Day hike: Col de Bostan - Tête de Bostan - Dents Blanches - Ideas for a 2-day tour with nearby refuges: de Folly, or de la Vogealle (for good walkers, specific equipment sometimes necessary)
