Notre Dame des Grâces Chapel

Located in Plampinet just before Névache in the Clarée Valley, this chapel was built in the XV century in Romanesque style. It presents inside a beautiful set of mural paintings illustrating the deadly sins and the corresponding virtues.
This chapel is the first place of worship in Plampinet. Since the mass was not enough said there, the Archbishopric of Embrun encouraged the construction of a church. The murals are representative of the decorations of the religious buildings from the XV and XVI centuries in the area, less expensive than stained glass or sculptures, and more imposing.
