The village of Le Lavandou was a former district of Bormes that became independent in 1913 and built its own religious buildings. Some are from the 19th or the 20th century, such as the church of St. Louis or the chapel of Notre-Dame de l’Annonciation. Some others are more recent, like the new Chapel of St. Clair.
