Entièrement restauré et bénit le 11 novembre 2017, cet oratoire probablement édifié au XIXe siècle est dédié à Sainte Marguerite, à l'origine du culte du Sacré Cœur de Jésus. Il permettait aux villageois excentrés de se recueillir pieusement et de prier sans pour autant se rendre à l'église. C'est aussi un lieu de remerciement et d'offrande avec l'espoir en retour de la protection de Sainte Marguerite.
Il a donné son nom au quartier, autrefois planté d’oliviers.
Collobrières is the capital of the Massif des Maures and has the label “ Villages de Caractère du Var ” (Character Villages). It is famous for its chestnuts.
