This journey immediately immerses you in an authentic and unspoilt atmosphere. As soon as you turn off towards Ganagobie, the challenge really comes into its own: a technical yet playful terrain where physically demanding sprints, gruelling climbs and rapid descents follow one another in rapid succession. The reward for your efforts is immense: spectacular 360° panoramic views stretching across ridges and valleys. An exceptional first stage that will leave a lasting impression, before you’re guided back to the comfort of your hotel.
Terrain characteristics on the day 1: 3% main roads, 37% small secondary roads, 49% wide paths and 11% trails.

This exceptional stage takes you up to the heights of Volonne. Between wild trails and winding hairpin bends, set out to conquer the Bastides Blanches – the highlight of your day – and treat yourself to a spectacular 360° panoramic view of the legendary Lure mountain. After all that effort, it’s time to put your riding skills to the test: hurtle down a technical descent towards Mirabeau and cross the legendary Col des Pénitents. To round off the day in style, cycle through the peaceful bird sanctuary alongside the river before settling in at Château-Arnoux.
Terrain characteristics on day 2: 9% main roads, 34% small secondary roads, 55% wide paths and 2% trails.

Head for Sisteron and marvel at its unmissable citadel and the spectacular Rocher de la Baume, overlooking the wild waters of the Durance. Enhanced from spring onwards by the golden light of the South, this exceptional route perfectly combines a sporting challenge with historical heritage. The adventure then takes a wilder turn: wind your way along secluded forest tracks and quiet country lanes towards Vilhosc. And what a finale! Pass through the picturesque village of Volonne before crossing the spectacular Himalayan-style footbridge in Haute-Provence. Both technically challenging and magical, it’s the ultimate experience to round off your wonderful holiday!
