Saint-Côme-et-Saint-Damien Church
Descripción
Consecrated in 1776, this Baroque church is dedicated to two saints invoked for healing. Numerous liturgical and decorative objects are listed as historic monuments.
While its bulbous steeple would pass for almost commonplace in the Haute-Savoie or Beaufortain regions, this type of roofing is much rarer in our Maurienne valley. Its altarpiece (with tabernacle), the work of the Gilardi brothers, deserves your attention.
