The bell tower of the church in the small village of Pommeroeul, in the commune of Bernissart, is not quite like the others. When the crosses at the top of the surrounding churches proudly surpass, straight as an'i', the roofs of the neighbouring houses, the bell tower of Pommeroeul curves. It is inclined at 1m80 out of its initial axis, which leads to its being renamed "the bell tower croncq".
