Your Experience
9/11 was a day that changed the world forever. Visiting the National 9/11 Memorial and Museum is an emotionally heavy experience, guaranteed to stir emotions among the visitors. The Memorial's twin reflecting pools, located within the foundation of the twin peaks, are nearly an acre in size each and feature the largest manmade waterfalls in North America. The names of every person who died in the attacks are inscribed into bronze panels edging the Memorial pools and serve as a powerful reminder of the horrific events.
Featuring over 11,000 artifacts from ephemera and textiles to artwork, books and more, the museum’s exhibitions attract over a million visitors each year. There are three permanent exhibition sections here. The Historical Exhibition takes you on a journey through the day before the event, the day of 9/11, and what followed after. You will even learn the story of the World Trade Center and the Pentagon and the story of Flight 93. The Memorial Exhibition "In Memoriam", offers visitors a chance to know the stories of the men, women, and children who succumbed to the tragedy. The Foundation Hall is a massive room that houses both the last column and the slurry wall.
Another important element in the 9/11 Memorial & Museum is the white oak trees that surround the pools. These trees were chosen due to their individuality (each tree grows and exhibits different behaviors at a specific time) which serves as a reminder of the individuals who lost their lives. Make sure to keep an eye out for the Survivor Tree. This Callery Pear tree was badly damaged after the attacks of September 11th and was nursed back to health before being returned in 2010. The new smooth limbs that extend from the shapeless stump create a visible demarcation between the past and the present, serving as a living reminder of hope and survival.

Highlights :

Visit the 9/11 Memorial and pay homage to the victims of the attacks at the twin reflecting pools.

Explore the museum and see over 11,000 artifacts collected from the site of the crash.

Check out the Survivor Tree, the only living thing that remained after the attacks of 9/11.

From there, follow your guide to the 9/11 Memorial, where you’ll learn about the symbolic places in the memorial plaza. These include the Survivor Tree as well as the Reflecting Absence, the largest man-made waterfalls on the continent.

/ulbr /br /Summary :br /h2Why Watch The Play That Goes Wrong/h2
pWinner of the Olivier Award for Best New Comedy, The Play That Goes Wrong celebrates the best and worst of theater, and is slapstick comedy at its best. Written by Olivier Award winners Jonathan Sayer, Henry Lewis, and Henry Shields, and co-produced by superstar J.J. Abrams and Kevin McCollum (Rent, Avenue Q, and Something Rotten!), alongside London producer Kenny Wax, the show is one of this year’s theater must-sees! Get your The Play That Goes Wrong tickets now to witness this talented troupe’s masterpiece in action. /p
h3The Story/h3
pSet in the 1920s The Play That Goes Wrong follows the antics of the Cornley University Drama Society. While staging their production, ‘The murder at Haversham Manor’, things, err, don’t quite go as planned. A lead actor with a concussion, a corpse that can't play dead, actors slipping out of ‘character’, malfunctioning sets, and a complete disaster of misplaced drinks - it’s one mishap after the other. This behind-the-scenes comedy is brilliantly hilarious!/p

/ulbr /br /Summary :br /h2Why Watch The Shark is Broken/h2
pThe fascinating ‘The Shark is Broken’ Broadway production delves into the turbulent making of the classic film ‘Jaws’. The plot of the movie takes place on a small boat, where three talented performers brave dangerous seas, a broken mechanical shark, and their own internal conflicts. With music and sound design by Adam Cork and direction by the well-regarded Guy Masterson, audiences will be completely drawn into the enthralling world of this drama./p
pBy casting Ian Shaw, son of Robert Shaw (Quint, the famous role in the original film), The Shark is Broken successfully creates a true connection to its classic source. Many critics have praised this show for creating an amazing evening at the theater. It expertly balances suspense and drama, and it tells the hidden story of one of cinema's biggest hits in a way that no other film has. What are you waiting for? Secure your tickets for The Shark is Broken on Broadway today!/p
h3The Story/h3
pIn the expansive seas of 1974, the filming schedule faces yet another delay. In this instance, the principal actors—experienced thespian Robert Shaw alongside emerging Hollywood sensations Richard Dreyfuss and Roy Scheider—are squeezed into an undersized boat, left entirely vulnerable to inclement weather and a malfunctioning mechanical co-star. As spirits run high, personalities clash, and emotions ignite during this tumultuous journey, there lies the potential for cinematic enchantment, provided it doesn't threaten to engulf them all. How will things turn out? Watch The Shark is Broken on Broadway’s John Golden Theatre to find out! Tickets are now available./p

/ulbr /br /Summary :br /h2Why Watch Kimberly Akimbo/h2
pKimberly Akimbo is an oddball musical that’s impossible not to love. There is a peculiar pleasure in watching it that perhaps could be a result of its accomplishment in pulling off a story about family and mortality. Kimberly Akimbo is unabashedly heartfelt and irresistibly hilarious./p
pThis musical from Pulitzer Prize-winner David Lindsay-Abaire with Jeanine Tesori as the music composer, Jessica Stone as the director, and choreography by Danny Mefford make Kimberly Akimbo an outstanding show. /ulbr /br /Summary :br /h2Why Watch SIX: The Musical/h2
pWhat most people know about the 6 wives of King Henry VIII is this: Divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived. Now, reclaiming their identities from just being defined by their relation to Henry, the wives return to take the mic at the Lena Horne Theatre. The Tudor Queens and Pop Princesses will remix five hundred years of historical heartbreak into a powerful celebration of 21st-century girl power. The female cast is backed by an all-female band, the 'Ladies in Waiting.' You may already know that songs from the studio album are streamed on average 300,000 times per day, making it the second-highest streaming cast recording in the world. So come along, experience what is surely one of the fastest upcoming musicals on Broadway this year, and enjoy an unforgettable evening with the six wives of one of history's greatest rulers, all with your Six The Musical tickets./p

/ulbr /br /Summary :br /h2Why You Shouldn’t Miss This/h2
pEstablished in 1870, the MET Museum is one of the world's most visited museums. With over 2 million works in its permanent collection, spread over 17 departments, there is something for everyone. It not only houses artworks, but also has costumes, musical instruments, weapons, and armor from across the globe, making it a must-see for those visiting New York!/p
pGiven that the MET is so vast, those pressed for time can see the highlights of the museum with our expert guide through our meticulously curated tour. You can choose between a two-hour and a three-hour tour, the latter of which shows you additional works./p
h2Your Experience/h2
pAt the incredible museum you will get to explore the wonders of Ancient Egypt as you step inside the Temple of Dendur, transported intact from the said country; visit an Ancient Roman bedroom that managed to survive the devastating destruction of Pompeii; admire French Expressionist art; marvel at the works of maestros such as Van Gogh, Rembrandt, Picasso and Vermeer; and much more. Along with these international masterpieces, you can also see famous American artworks like Sargent's 'Madame X' and the 'Washington Crossing the Delaware'. Your expert art historian guide will unlock his extensive knowledge and tell you stories behind each artwork you see./p
pOur tour ends with a bang, an ascent to the rooftop garden (May-Oct only, weather permitting), to enjoy one of our favorite views of New York City. You’ll gaze across the green of Central Park, framed by the city skyline. For other months, the tour will include extra artworks instead, ensuring you get to spend more time in the museum./p
