Description
Bernard Saint-Maxent's workshop is located in the heart of the village of Viellenave-de-Navarrenx, 5 km from the fortified city of Navarrenx.
Born in 1970, Bernard SAINT-MAXENT started carving as an autodidact in the 1990s, a way of relieving the pressures generated by his work in fast food. This solo training allows him to create without worrying about established rules. He seeks to give life and movement to his creations, always with humor, a way to catch the eye before triggering a reflection.
Painting or sculpture? Art or decoration? His works are full of life and color. "My art has to be a pleasure machine".
