Installed on the village of Louhossoa for 17 years, Jean-Marie, known as Jmeu, carries in him the heritage of an art several times millennium and transmits an art and a technique which continue to make us travel in the country of the forms, the matters, and the colors.
After secondary school in Rambouillet, Jean-Marie studied graphic design in Paris. It was during an internship that he first discovered glass spun with a blowtorch. The material of molten glass appealed to him, and it was only natural that he was introduced to the work of glassblowing with a cane, a technique of creation and craft realization in which he flourished.
He learns the glassmaker's trade in Nancy, then works with his trainer Jean-Michel Gauthier in Vendée, then with Carlos Vieira, in the Landes.
