Description
In the heart of the Basque Country, in the old town of Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, we invite you to discover Navarrese pottery.
The son of the former potter of Saint-Jean-le-Vieux, Olivier Carriquiry is the potter you can see turning in his workshop! You'll discover how stoneware is fired and glazed using a centuries-old wood-ash technique. We make traditional, utilitarian and decorative pottery. Guided tours for groups are available on reservation.
