Plage du Lac à Vielle

In the north of the lake of Léon, less than a kilometre from Vielle and 4km from Vielle Saint Girons, the beach of Vielle allows you to take full advantage of the calm and preserved nature of the Landes.
The Vielle beach is an ideal place for cycling on the Côte Landes Nature, and is a relaxing stop on the cycle path that links the communes of Linxe and Vielle Saint-Girons to the beaches of La Lette Blanche and Cap de l'Homy.
Partly classified as a nature reserve and Natura 2000 site, the Lac de Léon is very popular with nature lovers. Near the beach of Vielle, the campsite "Le Col Vert" is the starting point for a nice walk in the nature reserve.
Come and refresh yourself in the fresh water of the lake! Sheltered from the winds, shallow and supervised in the summer, this small cove is perfectly suited to families with children, couples and groups of friends.
