Lac de la Prade

Embedded in the middle of the round hills, the immense water reservoir of the Lac de la Prade offers to the amateur a quiet zone favourable to the observation of birds. An important colony of grey herons has taken up residence here, along with pairs of crested grebes. With a bit of luck and patience, one can admire the osprey fishing technique. This haven of peace also serves as a stopover for many species of ducks. A pedestrian path allows the discovery of an observatory where the approach of wild birds is facilitated.
