Domaine Abotia

In the heart of the Basque mountains, 2km from Saint Jean Pied de Port, discover the Abotia estate, producers of red, rosé and white wine, AOC Irouleguy. The vineyard is located in Ispoure on two sites: one produces red and rosé wine, the other produces white wine
For the red and rosé wines, the vineyard is located on the steep slopes of the Arradoy, facing south, exclusively in benches and built "uprooted" on the rock, with a slope of up to 70% gradient. Here, the vines are in full bloom and develop the bunches in the best conditions. As for the white wine, still on benches, the vineyard is south-facing, protected by a 13th century castle on one side and the village church at the top on the other. Between the two vineyards is the Abotia estate where the vinification and the reception of visitors are carried out.
